Canik Car Mount Guide: TP9, Elite, METE SFT, SFX, MC9, Rival
Canik car mount guide: magnetic mounts for the Canik TP9, TP9 Elite, METE SFT, METE SFX, MC9 and SFX Rival. Match your model, go optic-ready, install it right.

Canik pistols have earned a loyal following for their triggers and value, and a lot of Canik owners carry in the truck. The lineup has grown quickly, though, and model names like METE SFT and METE SFX are easy to confuse. A Canik car mount has to match your exact pistol.
This guide lists six popular Canik models with the At The Ready mount for each, and covers the optic choice, placement and installation.
Key takeaways
- Each Canik model has its own At The Ready magnetic mount, including the TP9, TP9 Elite, METE SFT, METE SFX, MC9 and SFX Rival.
- Similar names use separate mounts, so check the model marked on your pistol.
- Each mount is $95, or $105 for the optic-ready version.
- Many Caniks ship optic-ready, so decide on the optic version up front.

Six Canik Models, Six Mounts
You can browse the full Canik lineup on Canik’s website. At The Ready designs each mount from one pistol’s actual slide:
| Your pistol | At The Ready mount | Standard | Optic-ready |
|---|---|---|---|
| Canik TP9 | TP9 mount | $95 | $105 |
| Canik TP9 Elite | TP9 Elite mount | $95 | $105 |
| Canik METE SFT | METE SFT mount | $95 | $105 |
| Canik METE SFX | METE SFX mount | $95 | $105 |
| Canik MC9 | MC9 mount | $95 | $105 |
| Canik SFX Rival | SFX Rival mount | $95 | $105 |
The TP9 and TP9 Elite are separate mounts, as are the METE SFT and METE SFX. If your Canik is not listed, or you are not sure which one you have, call At The Ready at (469) 304-8535. See all Canik mounts on one page.
Optic-Ready Matters Here
Many Canik models come ready for a red dot, and plenty of owners run one. If yours does, or will, choose “Optic: Yes” for the optic-ready version, $10 more. The choice does not by itself confirm clearance for lights or other accessories; ask if you are unsure. The optic-ready gun mount guide has the details.
How It Holds Your Canik
A Canik car mount holds the pistol with rare-earth magnets in a premium ABS body shaped from that model’s slide. The pistol stays in the same position on every drive, with the grip where you expect it. The trigger guard stays open, so keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire.
Where It Goes
The side of the center console and the lower dash are the go-to spots. Test with your empty pistol from your normal seat, keep clear of airbags and pedals, and add the angled mount adapter ($14.99) if the grip crowds your knee. The under-dash gun mount guide covers that placement.

Installing It
Screws, VHB tape and primer come in the box. Use the screws, or the tape with the included primer for a no-drill install. The installation page has a two-minute video.

Make It Yours
Choose from 25 colors and up to 18 characters of custom text at no extra cost; black is the standard base color. Every mount is made in Wylie, Texas, by a veteran-owned company and carries a lifetime warranty. Practice with an unloaded pistol, take it with you or lock it up when you leave the vehicle, and check the carry laws wherever you drive.
