Which Para models do you make car and truck mounts for?

At The Ready makes a model-specific mount for 1 Para model: Para Ordinance 1911. Each one is designed from the actual slide of that model.

Are Para mounts magnetic?

Yes. Every Para mount holds the pistol with rare-earth magnets in a premium ABS body designed from that model’s slide, so it sits in the same position on every drive and is ready for a quick draw.

Is there an optic-ready Para mount?

Yes. Every Para mount here has an optic-compatible version for $10 more. Choose “Optic: Yes” on your model’s page, or switch on the red dot option in the finder at the top of this page. The optic option does not by itself confirm clearance for weapon lights or other accessories.

How much does a Para mount cost?

Para mounts start at $95, and the optic-ready version is $10 more. Base, tab and text colors and up to 18 characters of custom text are included at no extra cost.

Where does a Para mount go in a car or truck?

Common spots are the side of the center console, a side panel and the lower dash. Choose a spot you can reach from your normal driving position that stays clear of airbags, pedals and controls. At home, mounts can also go on a nightstand, headboard, desk or wall.
