Exactly what I was looking for

Most vehicle mounts involve you removing your weapon from its holster which I didn't want to hassle with for multiple reasons. When I saw this mount that uses your existing holster clip I got excited. Shipping was quick. I wasn't able to get the adhesive to work well enough even with the promoter but it was easy enough to drill and run 3 self tapping screws through the mount which holds it securely. The grip sits far enough out that it's easy to grab and the weapon doesn't move when I'm driving. Great design.

Cool design. Doesn’t work for my setup.

I was really excited about this holster hook. I’m an AIWB guy. On long drives, I like to take my holster off for a more comfortable experience. Unfortunately, this holster hook is just too bulky for my needs. I drive a 5th gen 4Runner. Trying to attach it to the drivers side middle console just doesn’t work. The hook is way too bulky. I’m 6’3”, so I ride with the seat pretty far back. But my long legs tend to ride up against the middle console. With the hook in place, my leg gets pushed towards the center. It’s just uncomfortable. And unfortunately, when my wife drives the 4Runner and brings her seat forward, the hook is in the way. It’s a bummer because I think this has the potential to be a game changer for carry guys. But it just doesn’t work for me.
