At The Ready is a veteran-owned and operated company in Wylie, Texas, that designs, prints and assembles model-specific quick-draw pistol mounts for vehicles and homes. Each mount is made for one pistol model, so the pistol sits in the same secure position every time you reach for it.

What does At The Ready make?

At The Ready makes pistol mounts built for specific models, plus a few accessories from the same shop:

• Model-specific pistol mounts for more than 180 pistol models from nearly 30 brands, from $95. Most models have an optic-compatible version for $10 more, and every mount comes in your choice of 25 colors with up to 18 characters of custom text. Find your model.
• Angled Mount Adapter ($14.99): angles a mount away from your knee for more grip and leg clearance, in right- and left-handed versions.
• Lazy Barrel Mount ($39.95): a magnetic holder that keeps a rifle or shotgun upright, with the butt stock plate included.
• AR Vice Block ($39.95): a bench block that holds an AR-platform rifle steady for cleaning, maintenance and assembly.
• Less-lethal: mounts for pepperball launchers, from $45. See the less-lethal range.

How are At The Ready mounts made?

Each mount is designed from the actual slide of the pistol it is made for, then printed from premium ABS plastic, fitted with rare-earth magnets and assembled in Wylie, Texas. In the company's words, a mount "fits like a glove" because it is designed around the slide dimensions and weight of that one handgun.

That is why the catalog is organized by manufacturer and then by model, and why models with similar names, such as the Glock 22 and Glock 22 Gen 5, each have their own mount. Mounting screws, VHB tape and primer come with every mount, and the installation video shows the process. Every mount is backed by a lifetime warranty, with the full terms included in the box.

How did At The Ready start?

At The Ready started because a universal mount would not hold founder Ron's 1911 in a Ford truck. The answer was a mount measured from the pistol's own slide, so the pistol stays put over bumps and potholes and comes out in the same shooting grip every time.

What is At The Ready's mission?

At The Ready's mission is to help keep families safe, by helping people protect themselves and avoid becoming victims of violent crime.

That goal comes with responsible ownership. Knowing exactly where your pistol is and how it is oriented matters in a life-threatening situation, and a mount is not locked storage, so the pistol goes with you or into a lock box when you leave the vehicle. At The Ready supports legal gun owners however they choose to carry. When seconds matter, it's crucial to be At The Ready.

Who does At The Ready work with?

Besides individual owners, At The Ready works with gun shops, deer stand builders and affiliates.
